Prospect Mountain High School is still accepting applications from students who reside outside of Alton or Barnstead and might like to attend PMHS under Open Enrollment this fall.
Although the law allowing Open Enrollment in New Hampshire has been on the books since 2009, until now no district has adopted the provisions of this law and opened a school to students from other towns in this way. Therefore, the PMHS JMA Joint School Board is looking for families of students who want to pursue an educational option and are also willing to help us learn through the process of starting this program.
