At Barnstead Elementary School, the Counseling Program’s mission is to support all learners through providing a data driven, comprehensive school counseling program that addresses all students' needs; academically, socially, and emotionally. Our students are cared for, valued, and respected for their diverse skills, strengths, as well as for their needs as individuals and as a community. Our school counseling program facilitates actions that model empathy and respect and embodies a strong passion for embracing our school community. We provide equal and engaging opportunities to students for developing self control, social and emotional skills, integrity, grit, and intellectual curiosity.
