Congratulations to PMHS Softball team as they extended their winning streak today defeating Belmont 11-0. PMHS pitcher Ella Bernier threw a no hitter striking out 17 Belmont batters. Bernier now holds the school record for career strikeouts with 545. The T-Wolves 8 games left in the 2024 regular season.

All current 8th Grade students from Alton and Barnstead are encouraged to attend. Students who reside outside of Alton & Barnstead may also attend this open house to learn more about the school’s Open Enrollment program.

To the communities of Alton and Barnstead. You are all invited to celebrate and support our student artists and the visual arts in New Hampshire. Prospect Mountain has four students and eight pieces of artwork that are participating in Student Art Month (SAM). Winners will be announced very early in May. All participating artists will be celebrated at the May 10th Fisher Cats game in Manchester. Before the game all of the students' artwork will be shown on the Jumbotron. Winners will be recognized on the field to receive their prizes and throw in one of the first pitches. After the game there will be a fireworks show. Good Evening, Due to the impending storm and the April 5th early release, there will be a change to the school day on Wednesday, April 3, 2024. April 3rd will be an early release for all students while Friday, April 5th will be a full day. We will continue to monitor the storm. If a cancellation on Thursday, April 4th is necessary, that day will be a Blizzard Bag day for students in K - 3 and a remote day for students in grades 4 - 12.
